North Wales Coast Diesels
£14.95 plus £2 p&p
The North Wales coast railway has had a long association with Diesel locomotive operation having been one of the first parts of the network to commence using this form of traction as far back as April 1960. The lack of electrification west of Crew, coupled with the nature of the route and several other factors, resulted in a number of passenger services to and from Bangor and Holyhead seeing regular Diesel haulage, even on secondary passenger duties, right up until the end of the year 2000.
A well written book with numerous coloured and black and white plates.
