Group Visits and School Tours

The Museum believes in the importance of contributing to the education and understanding of young people with regard to the rich historical heritage of the town of Holyhead, its port and surroundings. To meet this aim visits can be arranged to include a tour of the Maritime Museum, Holyhead Mountain Quarry (Country Park), the Stena Port and then aboard one of Stena's ferries to meet the Captain and his staff.

Tours can be tailor made to meet most requirements. The tour of the museum can be conducted in the medium of Welsh if required. Visits can be arranged with a talk and slide show on the Second World War and also on Captain John Macgregor Skinner. Group visits will be charged on a £2.00 per head basis. All school visits will be free of charge. Voluntary donations will be gratefully received.
